This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Sacramento ! We ordered the tom kha with chicken, avocado green curry with chicken, praram chicken, and mango sweet sticky rice with coconut ice cream. Everything was delicious. Tom Kha was creamy, spicy, and mushroomy flavor heavy. Avocado green curry was also creamy goodness, chock full of vegetables and chicken. Praram chicken was cooked so well, slightly crispy, also a ton of veggies and tasty peanut sauce. Mango sweet sticky rice and coconut ice cream was perfect, reminded us of our Thailand travels. Great prices too! Vibe is modern, casual, and simple, relaxed music playing and chill, modern artwork throughout. Customer service was great, very kind and food came out quick.

The food here is fresh and the price is reasonable. It's not too salty and the food comes out fast. My mom said she's going to come here once a week from now on. And free red vines for dessert!?!?

We came from San Francisco, overall it was a good experience! Foods were good with big portions. Friendly service. Spacious. Reasonable prices. Tom Yum soup was just ok, not really authentic. Reservation only by telephone call, they should set up online reservation. Would definitely come back if we’re in Sacramento again.

I ate with a group and we had 1. Basil Chicken w brown rice 2. Green avacado curry 3. Red curry 4. Pad Thai shrimp ^ Rated from 1 being my favorite to 4 being the least. And let’s be real, the Pad Thai Shrimp was good asl as well. It came out quickly and simultaneously for 5 folks and still tasted fresh. The coconut ont Thai restaurant was so good. Very nice serving sizes Warm inside. Good services and patience people. Also great location to walk the city after eating.

This restaurant is one of my favorites for Thai food. The food is phenomenal here, its’s filling, generous portions, and well priced. When I came here with my family we ordered three dishes and had no problem sharing and we loved everything we got. When my friends and I come here we never have a problem finding things to share either because so many options are vegetarian friendly! The restaurant is clean, the food comes out quickly, and the staff are very nice. There’s seating inside and some outside. My favorite items are the yellow curry, pad see ew, thai fried rice, and the mixed veggie plates (specifically the garlic pepper and basil plate). I just had their mango sticky rice and it is a must order, the rice is perfectly sweet (not overly), the coconut ice cream is delightful, and the mango was perfectly ripe. I actually had the mango sticky rice at their Fulton location, they have the same exact menu there. They also serve a really sweet but tasty plum wine here. Definitely recommend this place!
